In yet another incident of ceasefire violation, Pakistani forces today resorted to shelling and firing along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. <br/><br/>Defence sources said, the forces from across the borderline, started unprovoked firing and shelling, targeting some Indian Positions in Balakote sector around 6 this morning.<br/><br/>The troops guarding the border retaliated to the firing effectively and the intermittent exchange of fire continued for about an hour. Mortars and automatic weapons were reportedly used in firing. There is no report of any causality or injury to the Indian side.
