<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">In Jammu and Kashmir, Government today appointed Block Development Officers (BDOs) as Administrator(s) for running affairs of Panchayat Halqas under their jurisdiction for a period of six months with effect from today, till further orders. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that according to a notification issued today in this regard, the government has made these appointments on expiry of the term of Halqa Panchayats yesterday and on being satisfied that the Halqa Panchayats cannot be constituted immediately.</p>
