In Jammu and Kashmir, the 75th Republic Day was celebrated peacefully with traditional enthusiasm, fervor, and gaiety across all the 10 districts of the Jammu division amidst heightened security arrangements. The UT level main function of the Republic Day was held at Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu, where Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha unfurled the tricolor, took the salute, and addressed the Republic Day function, while in Srinagar, Advisor to LG, Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar presided over the Republic Day celebrations at Bakshi Stadium.<br />'' <br />''Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha laid a wreath at the 'Eternal Flame' of the memorial at the Balidan Stambh and paid tributes to the brave martyrs of the Police, Army, and CAPFs who laid down their lives and attained martyrdom in the service of the motherland on the soils of J&K in various battles and counter-insurgency operations since independence. At the main function of the Republic Day at the M A Stadium, Jammu, the parade consisted of men and women contingents drawn from Army, BSF, CRPF, JKP, JKAP, SSB, NCC cadets, Ex-servicemen, Bharat Scouts & Guides and school students presented salute to the LG. Pipe and Brass bands of BSF, J&K Police, J&K Armed Police, and Army played tunes to the march past. School children and artists of J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages presented a colorful cultural programme featuring theme-based presentations.
