In Jammu and Kashmir, the 65th Independence Day was celebrated in Kargil at Khree Sultan Choo Stadium, Kargil with full zeal and patriotism. Chief Executive Councilor (CEC) Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan hoisted the National Flag. In the parade of Independence Day, contingents of District Police Kargil, NCC and from Various Schools of Kargil and One Band Party of Indian Army participated and various cultural troops of Information Department, Cultural Academy and form various schools presented cultural programmes and Skits on the eve of Independence Day.
