Vice Chancellor of the Jamia Milia Islamia University Najeeb Jung has been nominated to the Central Board of the Reseve Bank of India, RBI. According to an official release, the Central Board is the apex body of RBI and is entrusted with the bank's general superintendence and direction. The Board is appointed by the Government in keeping with the Reseve Bank of India Act.
