Jalna District Admin constructs 4000 km long road to help farmers

In Maharashtra, Jalna District Administration has constructed roads stretching upto 4,000 kilometers. Our Correspondent reports that this will help rural people especially farmers a great deal.The administration of Jalna district has removed encroachments on the 916 roads, for farms as well as the encroachments on 245 public roads with farmers’ participation. As such, the administration has constructed roads with 4 thousand kilometers without spending any money of the government. The construction of the roads to farms has facilitated the farmers to do their routine agricultural works with economy of time. This has helped a lot in transportation of heavy agricultural implements as well as the agricultural produce.?Roads of 4 thousand kilometers in the district have been made free from encroachment and the strengthening of these roads is going to be completed by June 2012 through Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
