Maharashtra’s minister of state for Transport and guardian minister of Jalgaon, Gulabrao Deokar is likely to be arrested today after the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court cancelled his bail in the multi-crore Jalgaon Housing Scam case.NCP Chief Madhukar Pichad has asked Gulabrao Deokar to submit his resignation as minister following the cancellation of his bail by the Bombay High Court.Gulabrao Deokar is facing charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery and corruption in the Jalgaon Housing Scam involving fraud in construction of 11000 low cost houses. Homes were promised to thousands of citizens on the municipal corporation acquired land but the project was not completed.
