In Punjab, the Jalandhar Police has claimed to have arrested a PWD Junior Engineer, Paramjit Singh, who helped Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) Chief Paramjit Singh Panjwar’s Germany based family to obtain passport from Jalandhar Regional Passport Office on the basis of forged documents. Family members include wife and two sons of Panjwar.Police has booked seven persons including Panjwar and his three family members, his brother Sarabjit, Nambardar of village Maluwal Kalan in Tarn Taran Distt. and Sulakhan Singh. The police has already arrested JE Paramjit.Preliminary investigations reveal that in 2008, absconding Panjwar in connivance with his brother Sarabjit and friend JE Paramjit used fake documents to prepare three passports which were later delivered to Panjwar’s family in Germany. Investigations are on to find more information and involvement of others.
