Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is on a two-day visit to the tribal district of Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh from Monday. On the first day of his visit, he reached Chango village near the China border on Monday, where he was accorded a grand welcome by the people of the area including StateTribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi.<br />'' <br />''Gajendra Singh Shekhawat listened to the problems of the people in Chango and also addressed the public meeting. The Union Minister said that the demands of the people of the border areas would be placed before the Prime Minister so that they could be fulfilled at the earliest.<br />'' <br />''Shekhawat also visited the exhibition based on traditional costumes and food items by self-help groups.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister Gajendra Singh will remain in Kinnaur till 11th April.
