The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized unaccounted Cash, bank accounts and properties worth about 2.21 Crore rupees in follow up search operations at various locations in relation to Jal Jeevan Mission Scam of Rajasthan.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' In an official statement issued by the ED on social media platforms, ED has stated that its teams conducted follow up search operations yesterday at 26 locations including bank accounts in Jaipur &amp; Dausa under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. The search operations were conducted at official and residential premises of senior PHED officials including Subodh Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretary (PHED) in addition to private individuals in the Jal Jeevan Mission Scam.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />''During the search operations, a total of&nbsp; 2.21 Crore rupees including unaccounted cash of Rs 48 lakh and Bank balance 1.73 crore rupees, various incriminating documents including property documents and digital devices have been seized. Total seizure in this case till date is 11.03 crore rupees, including gold/silver worth 6.50 crore rupees.&nbsp; Akashvani correspondent reports that there were allegations of irregularities and scams in tenders worth crores of rupees under Jal Jeevan Mission in the state.&nbsp; Cases of laying substandard pipes and making low quality water tanks have come into light at many places. Tenders were also cancelled after allegations of allotting work to some firms on the basis of fake experience certificates.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' After this, a complaint was registered in the ED and ED had raided many places for the first time in this case two months ago. Now the range of this investigation has reached the senior most official and minister of the department. Election process is going on in the state and the opposition BJP is cornering the state government on this issue. At the same time, Congress is alleging misuse of central agencies.
