Functional Household Tap connection in rural areas of Leh District has increased from 5.32 percent on 15 August 2019 to 28.34 percent in these two years of implementation.<br />”<br />”The administration in Ladakh planned to achieve 100 percent in tap water supply to all rural households by next year in August. Forty-two thousand and six hundred eighty-eight rural households have been identified under Jal Jeevan Mission for tap connections.<br />”<br />”Eleven thousand nine hundred eleven households have been connected with tap water till date and rest of thirty thousand seven hundred seventy-seven households are planned to connect by next year as work allotment for all these have been completed.<br />”<br />”To achieve the target, the administration also taken support of air sorties to supply raw materials like High Density Polyethylene Pipes in far inaccessible villages. On the other hand, Leh District has achieved 100 percent coverage in School while 99.7 in Anganwadi Centre in providing tap water connections.</span><br />
