Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley today launched government's calendar for the year 2016. In his address, Mr Jaitley said the calendar is going to reach all panchayats in the country. He said it will help everyone realize and understand the national priorities and goals as the theme of this year's calendar is Vikas Ki Nayi Udaan. Mr Jaitley hoped that everyone realizes the power of the message of development, contained in the calendar. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Rajyavardhan Rathore said many government policies do not succeed as much as they should due to low awareness of citizens. He emphasised on the need for continuous feedback from people on government policies. Mr Rathore said the calendar, which showcases developmental schemes like Make In India, Digital India, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, will spread awareness of government's developmental goals.
