Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today stressed on the need to deploy all modern tools to combat terrorism efficiently. Addressing the IPS probationers, who completed their 45-week long training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad, Mr. Jaitely termed terrorism a great curse on the present-day society.<br/><br/>He said new areas are emerging in crime like cyber crime and narcotics and asked the police professionals to train themselves up to date to face the emerging challenges. The Finance Minister asked the IPS probationers to have humility, compassion and commitment while discharging their duties.<br/><br/>Mr Jaitley asked them to always maintain credibility while serving people.Earlier, he took salute from the passing out probationers and inspected the march past. He also paid rich tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at his memorial.
