Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today contested former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh for calling demonetisation an organized loot saying that the exercise was an ethical drive and a moral step that made corruption difficult. <br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi, Mr. Jaitley said, what happened in 2G scam, CWG and coal block allocations was loot while demonetisation was an economic exercise based on ethical and moral rationale. <br/><br/>He said what is morally and ethically correct has to be politically correct. <br/><br/>Calling the note ban a reckless exercise, Dr Singh said during an interactive session with businessmen and traders in Ahmedabad today that demonetisation was an organized loot and legalized plunder. <br/><br/>Mr. Jaitley said while the 10 years of UPA government were characterised by policy paralysis, the NDA dispensation introduced structural reforms to make India a developed nation with a cleaner economy. <br/><br/>He alleged that Congress's objective is to serve a family unlike BJP which works to serve the country.
