Coal minister Sriprakash Jaiswal today appealed to the opposition to allow Parliament function over the allocation of coal block issue.

Reiterating the government's readiness to debate and discuss the issue on the floor of the House, he said by stalling Parliament, the democratic process in the country is being stopped.

He was speaking to reporters in New Delhi. The coal minister alleged that the opposition is misleading the nation over the issue.
