In a series of tweets, Dr Jaishankar said those who live in India know that nation was in the midst of a COVID wave. He added that the five Central Asian Presidents, who were to come, did hold a virtual summit on 27th January. Dr Jaishankar pointed out that in 1963, Pakistan illegally handed over the Shaksgam valley to China. He said China built the Karakoram highway through Pakistan occupied Kashmir in the 1970s. He also said that from the 1970s, the two countries also had close nuclear collaboration. In 2013, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor started. Dr Jaishankar asked Mr Gandhi if China and Pakistan were distant back then.</span><br />
