Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh will embark on a four-day visit to Naxal-hit districts of Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh this evening.The Minister will oversee the implementation of development programmes in these areas.AIR correspondent reports that the Rural Development Minister will be covering the districts of Dantewada, Narainpur, Bijaipur in Chattisgarh and Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.Earlier, talking to reporters in New Delhi, Mr. Ramesh said that the Naxals will be defeated ideologically if the programmes meant for rural development are implemented successfully.The Centre has already announced various plans for 60 Naxal-affected districts under the Integrated Action Plan.
