Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said, the NDA government is trying to transform the previous regime of loot and plunder into a more honest system. <br/><br/>In an interview to a news channel, Mr Jailtley rejected former Prime Minister and Congress leader Dr. Manmohan Singh's criticism of demonetisation saying that the present government switched over from a system which promotes corruption into a more ethical system which the developing economies in the world has followed.<br/><br/>The Minister said, between 2004-14, the previous UPA government did not want to take any decision and, therefore, left what he called a terrible legacy behind.<br/><br/> Mr Jaitley said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not want to leave behind a legacy of do-nothing approach or a policy paralysis. He said, Mr Modi has taken a very courageous decision to transform India.
