Controversial independent jailed MLA of Uttar Pradesh Mukhtar Ansari has been remanded to 14 days Delhi police custody in a Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act MCOCA case by a Delhi court. <br/><br/>Additional Sessions Judge Madhu Jain has allowed custodial interrogation of the legislator till 29th of this month.<br/><br/>Special Branch of Delhi police had registered a case under MCOCA against Ansari, inter-state gangster Munna Bajrangi and others on November seven last year for allegedly running an organized crime syndicate involved in contract killings and extortion. Bajrangi was arrested from Mumbai on October 29 last. <br/><br/>Police had sought Ansari remand for interrogation to enable the investigators to unearth the whole conspiracy relating to running of an alleged organised gang in the national capital.<br/>
