Jagdish Shettar will take over as Chief Minister of Karnataka today. Governor HR Bhardwaj will administer the oath of office and secrecy to him in Bangalore this afternoon. 30 Ministers are likely to take oath with the Chief Minister. The Governor invited Mr Shettar to form the government after he was elected leader of the BJP legislature party. Karnataka BJP President KS Eshwarappa informed the Governor about Mr Shettar's election as Legislature party leader.The Governor has accepted the resignation of outgoing Chief Minister DB Sadanand Gowda but asked him to continue till alternate arrangements are made.
