Jagdish Shettar today took over as Chief Minister of Karnataka. Governor HR Bhardwaj administered the oath of office and secrecy to him in Bangalore. The Governor invited Mr Shettar to form the government after he was elected leader of the BJP legislature party. State BJP President K S Eshwarappa and R Ashoka have been sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers.
