A CBI Special Court in Hyderabad today adjourned till tomorrow the decision over the bail petition filed by Kadapa Lok Sabha Member Jaganmohan Reddy in connection with the disproportionate assets case against him. The CBI Court has taken up hearing over the bail petition this morning. The CBI argued strongly that Jaganmohan Reddy should not be given bail before the charges framed against him. Following the Court Direction, the CBI also filed an affidavit in this regard. Jaganmohan Reddy’s advocates appealed to the court that at least a temporary bail till 10th of next month may be granted enabling him to attend the campaign for the bye-election in the state.
Meanwhile, the CBI Court has also adjourned the hearing till 4th of next month over the bail petition filed by the state former excise minister Venkataramana.
