<br/>The all-party Telangana Joint Action Committee, JAC, has extended the deadline for getting the resignations of legislators accepted till 7th of next month. The Convenor kodandaram of JAC told this to reporters late last night after a meeting of the committee which was convened following Union Home Minister P Chidambaram's announcement to appoint a committee on the statehood issue by next week. He said the agitation will, however, continue to keep up the pressure on the Centre. Kodandaram further said if the committee is not appointed by February 7, then the public representatives would mount pressure on the Speaker to accept their resignations. Meanwhile, the steering committee of the JAC would meet today to finalise the nature of the agitation to be carried on till February seven.
