JAC decides to mount pressure on MPs and MLAs to resign

The all-party Telangana Joint Action Committee,JAC, has decided to mount pressure on MPs and MLAs from the region who are yet to resign to put in their papers to join the movement. The JAC also decided at a meeting held on Wednesday evening in Hyderabad to bring pressure on the Ministers again to resign even as MLAs. Expressing concern that considerable number of MLAs who are yet to put in their papers, the JAC has decided to convince them to resign before 28th of this moth. It was known that the JAC had fixed 28th of this month as deadline to the Central Government to announce a time bound programme for carving out Telangana state. The convener Prof Kodandaram said that the JAC would approach each MLA and MP who had not resigned, to pursue them to resign. He also said there was no need to fear about the safety of the settlers in Hyderabad.<br/><br/>
