The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council on Saturday unanimously elected, M.Y Taing as Deputy Chairman of the House. The Motion was moved by Jehangir Hussain Mir and Vijay Bakaya while Mohammed Amin Bhat and Khalid Najib Suhrawardy seconded the Motion. In his brief address, Taing expressed gratitude to the House for choosing him as Deputy Chairman and expressed the hope that with the cooperation of members, he will able to effectively deliver his new responsibilities.
