J-K health minister urges Centre to provide spl incentives

<br/>Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Health, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma has urged the Centre to consider state as a special case and provide special incentives in view of its peculiar topography.<br/><br/>He told a central team of National Rural Health Mission(NHRM), currently on tour of the State that national population norms for expansion of health activities do not suit to the State in view of its hilly terrain and sparse population .<br/><br/>Mr. Sharma apprised the team that State government is committed to implement the NRHM scheme in letter and spirit in every nook and corner of the State to achieve its purpose.<br/>He said after launching the NRHM in the State, health sector has substantially improved. He assured full cooperation in achieving the goals. The team expressed satisfaction over the progress registered so far.
