Gangster Chota Rajan was produced through video conferencing from Tihar Jail at MCOCA court in Mumbai today in connection with journalist Jyotirmoy Dey murder case. During the hearing, Central Bureau of Investigation informed the court they are facing problems and the notification for Public Prosecutor is still pending. <br/><br/>The Court has taken note that there are 68 cases against Rajan and of these, papers of only six have been given to the court. The Court instructed CBI to apprise the progress of investigation at the time of next hearing. The case was adjourned till March 14.<br/><br/>In today's hearing, Rajan's lawyer informed court that voice samples of Chota Rajan have been given to CBI for further investigation. A special court had earlier granted permission to the Central agency to interrogate gangster Chhota Rajan regarding his role in the 2011 murder of journalist J. Dey. He was gunned down in broad daylight in Powai in 2011, allegedly at Rajan's behest.
