J Dey murder case: Chhota Rajan to be produced in MCOCA court via video conferencing

Gangster Chhota Rajan, accused in journalist J Dey murder case, will be produced before the special MCOCA court court via video conferencing today. The The special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act court will file charges against the gangster in J Dey murder. <br/><br/>The underworld don, who is presently lodged, in Delhi's Tihar jail, is being presented before the court via video-conferencing as he has serious threat to his life. THe Bombay High Court has designated a Special Court in Mumbai to try cases involving Rajan. <br/><br/>Rajendra Nikhalje alias Chhota Rajan was arrested at Bali airport in Indonesia on October 25 after he arrived from Australia, and was later deported to India. Following his arrival in India, the Maharashtra government handed over all the cases against him to the CBI. <br/><br/>The prosecution's case is that journalist J Dey was shot dead in suburban Powai on June 11, 2011 on Rajan's orders, as he was allegedly upset with two articles written by Dey against him. <br/><br/>The CBI has booked Rajan and unknown public servants in a fake passport case on charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating, cheating by impersonation, forgery of document under the Indian Penal Code.
