Ivory Coast President Alassane Ouattara confirmed today that a deal had been reached with disgruntled soldiers to end a two-day revolt that spread unrest across the West African nation.<br/><br/>Speaking to his ministers and reporters, Ouattara said the government had agreed to take into account the soldiers' demands concerning bonus payments and living and working conditions.<br/><br/>Mutinying soldiers in Ivory Coast's second largest city, Bouake, opened fire on a local official's house late today shortly after the defence minister appeared to have brokered a deal there to end a two-day revolt, a Reuters witness said.<br/>'<br/>Defence Minister Alain-Richard Donwahi was trapped inside by the shooting, unable to head back to Abidjan, he said. <br/>
