In Table Tennis, India's premier paddler Achanta Sharath Kamal lost in the semifinals of ITTF World Tour India Open to a 13-year-old Japanese sensation Tomokazu Harimoto. In the men's singles semifinals played in New Delhi last evening, Kamal's impressive run in the tournament came to a halt when reigning Junior World Champion Harimoto showed exemplary skills to outplay his experienced opponent 4 games to 2.Harimoto defeated Kamal with score card 7-11, 11-5, 7-11, 13-11, 11-9, 11-9. The Japanese will be the youngest player to compete for the title when he faces top seed Dmitrij Ovtcharov in Final today.Kamal, seeded 11th at the start of the tournament, ranked 62, upset world number 24 Yuto Muramatsu in the second round and then beat world number 42 Paul Drinkhall, in the quarterfinal earlier in order to make the semifinal.
