In Table Tennis, India faced disappoinment for the second successive day of the ITTF World Tour India Open 2017 in New Delhi today. As many as five paddlers, including a man, crashed out of the tournament following their defeats in respective singles pre- quarter final matches. The women paddlers to crash out were Mouma Das, Mausumi Pal, Sutirtho Mukherjee and Archana Girish Kamath. Harmit Desai was beaten 1-4 in the men's pre-quarter by Japan's Koki Nova. Meanwhile, Achanta Sharat Kamal and Sanil Shetty will be seen action in their respective men's singles matches later today.
