ITBP prepares support material for quake victims in Sikkim

The Indo Tibetian Border Police has prepared disaster management stores, comprising tents and blankets, for immediate airlifting to quake-hit Sikkim. The support material which will be used for the victims will be lifted from an airbase in New Delhi and will be sent to the regional response centre in Gangtok, which has been created in the aftermath of the devastating quake. Over 800 Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel are undertaking relief and rescue operations in the aftermath of the earthquake.
