In Kerala, two notified technical experts from the Italian Police, Major Flebus Luca and Major Fratini Paolo arrived in Kochi today.The search of the Italian vessel Enrica Lexie, now berthed in Cochin Port, will be held later in the day in their presence. Ballistics examination of the weapons used for killing the fishermen will also be carried out.Forensic and ballistics examination is important in establishing the truth related the charges levelled against the two Italian marines, now in police custody in connection with the killing of the fishermen off the Kerala coast.The First Class Judicial Magistrate's court at Kollam on Thursday had allowed the search of the vessel and seizure of the weapons used for the killing in the presence of notified Italian experts.
