Enrica Lexie, the Italian vessel which was involved in the killing of the two fishermen off the Kerala coast last Wednesday, has been moved out of Kochi harbour to the outer sea.
The ship has not been allowed to leave and is being guarded by a Coast Guard vessel. It will be allowed to leave only after legal procedures are over. The vessel was brought to the Cochin port on Friday.
Meanwhile, police sources said, the two Italian Naval personnel who were arrested on Sunday in connection with the killing of the fishermen, will be taken to Kollam this afternoon. They will be produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate at Kollam.
The police have registered a murder case against the Italian naval personnel at the Neendakara Coastal police station in Kollam district.
