The Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has said, he will not seek another term of office when his present mandate ends in 2013. Speaking to foreign journalists in Rome, he said he intended to complete his ambitious plans to reform Italy's judicial system and to change the country's constitution before he leaves office. He, however, did not rule out some future political role for himself as a father figure. Meanwhile, the Lower House of Parliament in Italy has approved a Bill that will cut the length of some trials. Opposition, however, believes the measure was passed to benefit Mr Berlusconi who currently faces several trials in Italian courts.
