The Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna has lost in the Men's Doubles semi-finals of the BNL D'Italia tennis tournament in Rome. The seventh seeded Indian pair lost to the Spanish duo of Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez, in straight sets, 4-6, 1-6 last night. In the Men's Singles, Serbia's World Number One Novak Djokovic and third seeded Spaniard Rafael Nadal stormed into the finals. In the semi-finals yesterday, Djokovic defeated Swiss Roger Federer 6-2, 7-6, while Nadal defeated fellow Spaniard David Ferrer, 7-6, 6-0. The final match between Djokovic and Nadal will be played today.
