Significant progress is being made in the on-going talk between representatives of government and Maoists to seek safe release of an Italian national and one BJD MLA. This was stated in Bhubaneswar by the interlocutor B D Sharma after an interval of the first round of talks on Monday. He said soon a final decision would be taken to ensure secure release of the abducted.The issue rocked the state assembly on Monday. Opposition congress stalled the days proceedings demanding CBI inquiry into the alleged link between BJD and Maoists in Koraput district. The state Chief minister Naveen Patnaik again appealed to Maoists to release his party man and one foreign tourist unhurt.
