New British Labour leader Ed Miliband vowed to usher in a new generation and a new way of thinking as he delivered his keynote party conference speech in Manchester.Mr. Miliband said, it was wrong for the then Prime Minister Tony Blair to take the country to war against Iraq. Speaking to the party conference in Manchester for the first time since narrowly winning the leadership, Mr. Miliband distanced himself from many of the policies of Labour's years in power. Mr Miliband was elected as Labour leader at the weekend after beating older brother David in the leadership ballot. He praised the New Labour era of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, but said the party needed to recognise the mistakes that helped loses Labour 5 million votes between 1997 and 2010.
