The Income Tax Settlement Commission has settled over fifteen thousand tax disputes involving over 1.35 lakh tax proceedings.

Addressing a function in New Delhi today, Chairman of the Commission Mr. Ramji Sinha said the commission passed 400 Orders in the previous fiscal in which it settled income amounting to nearly 600 crore rupees.

He said the commission is going to set up 3 new benches in New Delhi and Mumbai to resolve and expedite tax related issues.
