The Income Tax officials today conducted raids at several premises of two sponge iron companies spread over Jharkhand, West Bengal and Bihar. Income Tax Department's Deputy Director Apresh Tiwari told reporters in Giridih in Jharkhand that raids were launched at the premises of Balmukund and Balaji companies in Giridih, Chaibasa (Jharkhand), Kolkata,Jaipur (Rajasthan), Muzzafarpur, Lakhisarai and Patna in Bihar.
