<span style="color: #222222;">The Government today said Information Technology (IT) industry is expected to grow 15.5 per cent, to reach 227 billion dollar in revenue in financial year 2022. <br />''<br />''In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Electronic and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar said as per National Association of Software and Services Companies, NASSCOM, the IT industry revenue is estimated to grow 15.5 per cent in the financial year 2021-22 , 227 billion US dollar from 196 billion dollar in 2020-21 . This includes export revenue of 177 billion dollar. He said  Indian IT industry is estimated to directly employ nearly 51 lakh people with an addition of four lakh 45 thousand people during 2021-22 financial year.</span><br />
