Income Tax Department will share the documents seized by it with the Enforcement Directorate and other agencies in the probe of alleged financial irregularities in Commonwealth Games contract. According to Official sources various agencies, have approached the I-T department for information and sharing of files. On Thursday, over 300 Income Tax personnel conducted raids on more than 50 premises of companies across the country. A large number of documents including those pertaining to contracts and sub-contracts awarded by the Organising Committee have been seized. These documents can form the basis of any further cases to be registered by the ED or even the CBI.
