<span style="color: #222222;">In Madhya Pradesh, the Income Tax Department will honour old and first time tax-payers of the Madhya Pradesh and neighbouring Chhattisgarh. These two states have more than 45 lakh tax payers.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Principal Chief Income Tax Commissioner (MP and CG) Ajay Kumar Chouhan informed that as part of 159th Income Tax Day cleanliness and plantation drives would also be carried out in all districts in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The department is celebrating Income Tax fortnight from 10th to 24th July.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Talking to media persons yesterday, Mr Chouhan said that the department has asked students in both the states to give written declarations that they would ensure their parents deposit Income Tax Returns honestly. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The move was a bid to educate students about income tax, he added. He said 35,000 students have filled the declaration form so far.</span>
