The Income Tax department has ordered to confiscate Benami property of RJD Chief Lalu Prasad in Patna.<br />'' <br />'' The first appellate authority of the department has approved confiscation of property of 3.76 crore rupees belonging to Lalu Yadav and his family members.<br />'' <br />'' The property includes a two-storey building located near Patna airport. IT sources said, deposits in Patna-based Awami Bank would also be seized.<br />'' <br />'' Several bank accounts were opened in fictitious name in this bank and during demonetization cash was deposited.<br />'' <br />'' During the investigation, it was detected that the bank accounts were not opened by daily wagers whose documents were used to open accounts. The action has been taken under Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Act.<br />''  <br />
