Income Tax Department has unearthed 44 fake bank accounts at a branch of Axis Bank in Chandani Chowk area of Delhi. Official sources said during the raid it was found that about 100 crore rupees of old notes were deposited in these accounts after the scraping of 500 and 1000 rupees notes on 8th of last month.The accounts were created using forged documents. <br/><br/>A total of 450 crore rupees were deposited in the fake accounts after the demonetization.<br/><br/>In an another search, the IT Department seized over 106 crore rupees cash and 127 kg Gold from sand mining Contractors at Chennai. The ming group has sand mining licence for the entire state of Tamil Nadu.
