The issue of price rise is expected to figure prominently at the meeting of the Congress Working Committee taking in New Delhi Friday. Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi has already said the matter is of highest concern to the party. Congress Party Chief Ministers will also attend the meeting which is likely to deliberate on ways and means to tackle the situation at a time when food inflation is high. According to Party General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi, the current political situation will be discussed. AIR correspondent says the meeting assumes significance as it is being held a day before the conference of Chief Ministers convened by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on price rise and just three weeks before the general budget. The announcement of a committee to look into the Telangana issue and taking stock of organisational elections after the completion of the membership drive, the recent attack of the Shiv Sena on the party President and Rahul Gandhi are some of the other issues that could come up at the meeting.<br/>
