Issue of corruption rocks Parliament for the second day

The issue of corruption rocked Parliament for the second day on Thursday leading to the adjournment of both the houses for the day. The opposition was demanding a probe by the Joint Parliamentary Committee, JPC, into various scams including the 2G Spectrum, alleged corruption in the Commonwealth Games projects and Adarsh Housing Society. Parliamentary Affairs Minister PK Bansal said that the Opposition's demand for a JPC probe can not be accepted. Speaking to reporters outside the Parliament, he said the government is equally concerned about corruption, but there is a process for everything, after which the guilty can be brought to book.
