Issue of Chandigarh stalking case raised in Lok Sabha

The issue of Chandigarh stalking case was today raised in the Lok Sabha. During Zero, Congress MP Dipendra Hooda raised the issue alleging inaction and lapses in handling the case by the Haryana government. <br/><br/>Reacting to it, Parliamentry Affiars Minister Ananth Kumar said the state government and police has taken prompt action in the case which was even appreciated by the victim. He said the matter should not be politicised. <br/><br/>BJP MP Kirron Kher said it is a social issue and not a party one and one should not politicise it. Recetly, the daughter of an IAS officer has alleged that there was an attempt to abduct her by the son of Haryana BJP Chief. The issue created controversy.
