ISSF World Cup organisers apologise to Indian shooters for harassment

Bowing to pressure, the organisers of the ISSF World Cup in Dorset, UK today apologised to the Indian shooters who were harassed by their transport staff.National Rifles Association of India Secretary Rajib Bhatia said in New Delhi, a meeting was held between Indian representatives and the organisers in London where they apologised. He said, he has spoken to team manager T Padmanabhan, who attended the meeting. The team manager has asked for a written apology from the organisers. Mr Padmanabhan on Saturday wrote to the Indian High Commission in London, complaining that the shooters were insulted by the transport staff of the event.
