Indian shooters have failed to qualify for the finals of men's double trap event at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup tournament. At Larcana, Cyprus, today, Ankur Mittal emerged as the best performer after an 11th place finish in the qualification. Mittal aggregated 138 over five rounds, which was not enough to earn himself a berth among the top 6 shooters, entitled to shoot in the finals. The minimum qualification score on the day was 141. Two other Indian shooters, Dahiya Sangram ended 30th with a total of 132, and Mohammad Asab shot 131 to finish 33rd. The men's and women's trap are the two events left in the tournament, which will conclude with the men's trap finals on Sunday.
